We are pleased to share a new publication about the Indigenous Community Research Partnerships (ICRP) training resource, published in Progress in Community Health Partnerships: Research, Education, and Action.
The article describes how ICRP was developed as an open-access training resource to support learning about ethical, community-centred research partnerships with Indigenous Peoples. It outlines the collaborative process used to develop the training, including the contributions of Indigenous and non-Indigenous team members and community partners.
The article also reports findings from an early evaluation of the resource. Feedback from learners was very positive, with respondents describing the training as informative, useful, and engaging and responding positively to its format and design.
These findings provide encouraging early evidence about how the resource is being received, while also pointing to the importance of continued evaluation and ongoing work with Indigenous partners.
For us, the publication is an opportunity both to share how ICRP came together and to reflect on how the resource can continue to evolve in response to learning, feedback, and community priorities.
